- High/low (or high-low):
- One person low (usually on the ground) and one person high (on a box or something), holding an angle. It makes it very hard for someone to peek it, because usually you don't have to flick up and down.
- CT:
- From Counter-Strike (CS), CT stood for "Counter-Terrorists" who are defending. In Valorant, it usually means the connector to defender side spawn. Often (it seems to me) it only makes sense relative to the current site, and some connectors have other names so they're not called CT?
- Planting default:
- There is usually a default spot to plant on any given site. It's usually a safe plant, hidden from fire, that might be harder to hold against retake. (The spot is site specific if that wasn't clear and you just have to learn them all.)
- Heaven/Hell:
- If there is a place on a map where players can be directly above each other, the upper spot is heaven and the lower one is hell. This is also used sometimes even when there is no direct horizontal overlap but there is a significant height difference (for example on Split)
